Shakespeare in the Parkʼ returns to Galt Gardens, Lethbridge, after an absence of 13 years. This exciting project was made possible by grants and sponsorship from the City of Lethbridge, BRZ and Playgoers of Lethbridge.
“A Midsummer Nightʼs Dream”, one of Shakespeareʼs best-loved plays is directed by Andrew Legg, with a combined University and Community group of talented actors and dancers. This lively, colourful and magical romp through the court and woods of ancient Greece includes mischievous fairies playing tricks, young lovers falling madly in love with the wrong person, and a ham actor, “Bottom” acquiring a donkeyʼs head and personality….but all ends happily!
Performances every Thursday and Friday evening until August 10 (except for Friday July 13).
ADMISSION IS FREE
With donations gratefully accepted. Bring blankets or lawnchairs.
