CKXUs annual FUNdrive is raising money to continue innovative campus-community radio programming for Lethbridge and Southern Alberta. During FUNdrive week, donations from listeners and money is raised at Live Drive events throughout the city. All money collected will be used to purchase and service broadcast equipment, as well as pay for day-to-day office necessities.
I’m not much of a Star Wars fan, but I do like quirky. The description of this event scheduled at the Slice is exactly that.
Have a look at this event scheduled for May 4th. If you like dressing up, this event is for you. Advance tickets at $15. I didn’t see where tickets could be purchased, but Slice customers know who to ask. No doubt, Mike at BluePrint has all the answers as well; his community-mindedness is an asset for many Lethbridge artisans.
